Piecing the interior together

It is somewhat good news to announce that I started putting the interior of the car back together. That's a lot better than taking it apart, although to be honest, there's just not much left to remove.

The center tunnel has been "reupholstered" with some new vinyl and reinstalled. Let me be the first to say that it looks fantastic. Before I go on, here's a shout-out to my mother, who's a seamstress, for doing the sewing.

The shift boot is made from one piece of vinyl with faux-stitches to replicate four separate pieces. And the armrest was modified from a solid piece of vinyl to three pieces sewn together. All seams have running stitches for an added luxury feel.

Total cost of supplies: around $12
